Deason Home

Located near Ellisville, the Deason Home was build in the 1840's. In 1863, Major Amos Mclemore, a Confederate officer, was killed in the house by Newt Kight. The home is now owned and operated by the Tallahala Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution.
